SéBASTIEN PAUCHON

Game author and editor Sébastien Pauchon has been living in Vevey for 25 years, though he has had several lives already. After a half bachelor in oriental languages (Chinese and Japanese), he chose to shift focus into his passion: billiards. He wrote a book on American pool, Le billard.ch. Up until 2001, he spent six hours a day training to reach a professional player status. From the billiards world he arrived to the game world. Sébastien’s creations took home awards from to Concours International de Créateurs de Jeux in Boulogne-Billancourt, getting him off on the right track. During the summer of 2015, he took part in the Spieleautoren-Stipendium in Göttingen, becoming the first Swiss to win this award. In 2006, he decided to work with his friend and pianist Malcolm Braff to launch the publishing company  GameWorks. To date, Sébastien has created over a dozen games including four games for Helvetiq: Helvetiq Le Jeu Suisse, IQ collection, Belgotron et Cantuun.
