LEO COLOVINI

Leo Colovini grew up in Venice’s historic center. After a childhood filled with playful discoveries, games became a real passion when he met the author Alex Randolph. Together, they created Drachenfels. Leo obtained a PHD in history writing his thesis on Charlemagne’s game. He then published a number of games in parallel: Carolus Magnus in 2000 and Clans in 2003 which almost won the award Spiel der Jahres. He made the top three of the Kinderspiel des Jahres 2016 with his game Leo muss zum Friseur, before winning the Spiele Hit für Kinder 2016 and the Deutschen Kinderspiele Preis 2016. But his goal is clear: “My dream would be to win the Spiel des Jahres award some day !” With Helvetiq, he has already signed Matterhorn and Forest.
